National Cadet Corps (NCC)

Shaping disciplined, patriotic citizens through training in leadership, adventure and selfless service — under the motto “Unity and Discipline”.

Tri-Services Wing Unity & Discipline Leadership Training

About the NCC Unit

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Armed Forces of India, with its headquarters at New Delhi. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis. The NCC unit at Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya trains cadets in discipline, leadership, physical fitness and a spirit of selfless service to the nation, preparing them for responsible citizenship and, for those interested, a future career in the Armed Forces.

Cadets undergo regular drill, weapon training, map reading and field-craft, alongside camps, adventure activities and social service programmes conducted throughout the academic year.
