Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya

Sewali Hazarika was born in Jorhat in the year 1972.  She completed her graduation (BSc honours in Statistics) from J.B College andfurther went on to pursue her Masters in Statistics from Dibrugarh University in the year 1998. She has specialization in Economitrics and reliability theory She joined as a Lecturer in Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya in the year 2000. She attained her M.Phil degree in the year 2009 from Vinayaka Mission University.She holds 22 years of teaching experience and has been an active member in various academic and non-academic activities.

Sewali Hazarika has been actively serving since 1st August 2000.She has been working as HOD of the department of StatisticssinceApril 2021.She has been dutiful to the college and has rendered her duties asin charge of students Union, class advisor, Assistant Officer-in-charge of HS and Degree Examination,Member of admission committee,In- Charge of Departmental Field Study, Supervisor of Project Report and also participated in Teacher’s Meets. She has been worked as external examiner of practical exam in different colleges.

6.    Workshop: 27th to 1st August, 2021 on Remote Access to Lab on a Screen. A National level one week familiarization workshop Organised by Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya.
7.    Three Day International workshop on soft Skills and Effective Classroom Management (2-4 October 2022) Organized by Lavender Literacy Club, India and Malaysian Industrial Relations & Human Resource Association (MIRHA), Malaysia.
