Assistant  Prof. Pinaki Hazarika joined the Department of Botany in Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya in 1997. She did her B.Sc fromJ.B College, Jorhat under Dibrugarh University, M. Sc from Guwahati University and M.Phil from Vinayaka Mission University, Tamil Nadu. She also completed 5 months Tea Training Course from Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat in2016. Presently, she is also associate dwith the Diploma Course in Tea Plantation and Management under Community College, Jorhat  Kendriya Mahavidyalaya.

In addition to her teaching experience, she is also a member of many committees like Assistant Coordinator of IQAC, Executive Member in many NAAC committees etc. She is the Coordinator of Botanical Garden and is running the Skill Course on Vermi- compost in Degree 3rd Semester. She has been associated with the Students’ Union and has coordinated many Students’ Union functions. She has participated in several National Workshops, Motivational Programmes and has also performed as External Practical Examiner and Paper Examiner in several Educational Institutions.

From the past 23 years, Prof. Pinaki Hazarika has been rendering her services in the field of teaching and working persistently towards the students’ growth and welfare. Her active participation throughout the years has been recognized by many people and the Institution. She has been leading students to many field trips, workshops, projects and seminars. Her devotion and dedication towards teaching has encouraged and inspired many students to achieve their goals in life.
