It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya, an esteemed institution dedicated to nurturing minds and shaping futures. Since its inception in 1981, our commitment to quality education and holistic development is unwavering. We foster an environment of intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning, supported by experienced faculty and state-of-the-art facilities.

We are devoted to nurturing our students and instilling within them a sense of discipline, value-based education, and inclusive pedagogy. Our aim is to foster an adaptive educational environment that caters to the diverse needs of our learners. Furthermore, we are deeply committed to serving the local community and society at large, striving for excellence in all our endeavors. With sixteen departments in arts and science, we endeavor to provide comprehensive education that empowers our students for success in their chosen fields. Through distance education, we are trying to contribute to the national goal of achieving a Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) of 50% by 2023. Our institution offers a diverse range of distance courses, partnering with esteemed institutions such as Dibrugarh University's Distance and Online Education, Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU), Tezpur University's CDOE, and to make quality education accessible to a wider audience.

Recognized by the National Skill Development Council (NSDC), our college provides diploma and certificate courses through its Community College. Additionally, we are proud to offer a UGC-sponsored four-year Bachelor of Vocational Course (B.Voc.) in Small Tea Garden Management, further highlighting our dedication to academic excellence.
