Associate Professor (HOD)

Biography

 Nibedita Baruah joined this college on 1st August 1992 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2010.She graduated from D C B Girls  college Jorhat and completed M.A. in History from Dibrugarh University.Till now she has published 6 Research papers in national Journal and presented 10 papers in the National and International Seminars.She is amember of ACTA, life member of NEIHA and Purbanchal Tai Sahitya Sabha .She was one of the members of the college team which visited Silpakorn University, Bangkok for academic and cultural exchange programme on December, 2019

Institutional Cooperate Responsibility

  • Nibedita Baruah has been actively involved for10 times as  one of the Teacher in Charge of Students’ Council.

    She was appointed as class adviser, A. O. C of University exam, Supervisor of Final Exam,Asst Zonal Officer of final exam, judge of different competition organised by the college,  in charge of college team for inter college youth festival . Presently she is one of the members of IQAC , and Coordinator and member of various committees of the college. She was one of the members of the college team which visited Silpakorn University, Bangkok for academic and cultural exchange programme on December, 2019.
