Biography

Someswar Borah has completed his School education from Barbali High School, after that he pursed, H.S. from LohitDikrong Higher Seccondary School, Bihpuria. He completed his Master Degree from Cotton College (Guwahati University) in Zoology. He joined Jorhat kendriyaMahavidyalaya on 03/  09/ 1995 as a regular teacher and presently servicing as Asst. Professor in the department of Zoology. Since his joining, he has extended his sicere services for the all round development of the college in general and development of Zoology in particular. He joined more than 8 National Seminar. He is worked as co-rdinatorvrmicompost production unit, co- ordinaor of skill course(Vermicompost) and member of Skill Hub(NSDL). He is member of various academic and non-academic committees of college.

Institutional Cooperate Responsibility

  • 1) He has been working as the Coordinator of Vermicompost production unit.
    2) Coordinator of Botanical garden
    3) In charge of Social Service- Student union. he organized department field trips as well as a teacher of the academic tour for the benefit of the students from time to time.
    4) Under his initiative students of our college took part in taikowando competition at Namrup college in several time .
    5) He Conducted Examination as Asst.officer in charge in charge atleast 26 time in degree level,4 times in H.S Final Examination, 5 times in distance mode of exam D.U.
    6) He also was appointed as Asst.Zonal officer of 4th Semester Examinations.
    7) Several times he worked as an invigilators.
    8) At least 5 times as examiner for evaluation.
    9) Several times as External for practical Examination on other college.
    10) Several times as internal for pratical examination of this college.
