Biography

She was born in 1970 at Jorhat in Assam. She has joined in this college on 1-8-1996. She has passed HSLC from Charigaon Girls High School, Jorhat in the year 1986 and HS from Bahona College, Jorhat in the year of 1988.She completed her B. Sc. From Science College(JIST), Jorhat in 1992 and M.Sc. in Mathematics from Dibrugarh University in 1995.She achieved her M. Phil degree from Vinayaka Mission University in 2009 and presently she is holding the post of Assistant Professor and HOD of the Department of Mathematics.

Arpona Saikia has been actively serving since 1-8-1996 and working as HOD of department of Mathematics from 2008. She has been involved as teacher in charge of students council, class advisor. She was appointed as Assistant Zonal officer in degree examination conducted by Dibrugarh University, Assistant officer in charge in H.S. and degree examination,, treasurer of women cell, Member of admission committee, member of examination control board, member of disciplinary committee.Member of science and technology forum. Participated in teachers meet.
