Vision and Mission of the Department
Vision: The department aims to make the student aware of the past and its legacies through teaching in Indian history in the context of world history. We think that only critical understanding of the past will enable the student to understand the present and help them took towards the future.
Mission: Empowered student to cope with challenges of globalization by instilling them a lifelong passion for learning about the past. Interconnection between the global, national, regional and local history will equip the students to face the challenges with confidence.
